Since 2011, CPC Finland Oy, a wholly owned subsidiary of CPC Germania GmbH & Co. KG, has been planning and developing onshore wind farm projects in Finland.

With the commissioning of the two wind farms Lakiakangas 1 (6.9 MW in 2017) and Lakiakangas 2 (50.4 MW in 2019), CPC Finland Oy has reached a total installed capacity of 57.3 MW. The successful implementation of the already approved portfolio of over 400 MW has thus begun.

TThe electricity generated by the flagship project Lakiakangas 2 will be purchased long term through the first Finnish PPA (power purchase agreement) with Google. As first of its kind, the project was financed and realized without state subsidies and was implemented and put into operation within just twelve months of the financing being completed.
