The Koppö Energy cluster is a worldwide one of a kind green transition project.

Its heart piece is the 200 MW green hydrogen/e-methanol plant in Krististinestad. The electricity suply of the plant will be mainly served by 460 MW of wind power over several wind farms in Kristinestad and in the surrounding municipalities. Furthermore a carbon capture unit will be installed at the Westnergy waste incineration site in Korsholm, providing the CO2 suplly for the e-methanol production.
